"WE ARE AT THE 5TH BIRTHDAY OF SUPERJUNIOR AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW SUPERJUNIOR, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. THEY ARE ONE OF THE BIGGEST BOY BANDS IN SOUTH KOREA IF NOT THE WHOLE OF ASIA. THIS AUDITORIUM IS PACKED WITH ABOUT 5000 CRAZY GIRLS WHO HAVE NOT STOPPED SCREAMING FOR THE LAST 10 MINUTES, THIS IS A BIT OF A QUIET SONG, HENCE THEY HAVE CALMED DOWN BUT YOU WILL HEAR THE SCREAMS VERY SHORTLY…"
EARLIER, WE MET UP WITH TWO OF THE BAND MEMBERS, THE LEADER, LEETEUK AND SIWON- considered the most handsome, amongst his fans" -- TO TALK ABOUT HOW SUPERJUNIOR BECAME A KOREAN PHENOMENON.
"THANKS YOU FOR JOINING CNN'S I-LIST SOUTH KOREA. NOW THE GROUP HAS JUST CELEBRATED 5 YEARS TOGETHER, HOW DID YOU FORM?"
'Some of us auditioned and some of us were casted by SM Entertainment. There are a lot of boy bands in Korea, and they all sing and dance, but we wanted to challenge things and try something more innovative. Super Junior was created based on the idea that the members would be able to not only sing and dance, but also be radio hosts, act and be active in many other fields."
"NOW INTERNET IS HUGE HERE IN SOUTH KOREA AND I PRESUME IT IS A VERY POWERFUL TOOL FOR YOU TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, FACEBOOK AND TWITTER. TELL US HOW YOU USE SOCAIL MEDIA TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FANS?"
"A lot of people tend to believe that we don't really have a life and are encaged in some way. So we use the social media a lot to show people slices of our personal life."
"There are not many opportunities to communicate with our Asian fans, because we're in Korea most of the time. We visit other Asian countries once every half a year at the most. So in order to communicate with our fans, services like Twitter are very useful. We can post something, and fans will read it and share their opinions online. So it's a good channel to use to check up on our fans and show them what we're up to."
"I have liked them for 5 years"
"SO IT'S TRUE LOVE?"
"Yeah it's true love"
"I love superjunior, superjunior forever"
