Thailand Prime Minister knows Super Junior
During an interview with Thailand’s Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva (อภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ)…
Q: Have you watched any Korean dramas, or are there any Korean celebrities that you know of?
A: I had a DVD player that’s from Korea, and because my daughter is a Hallyu fan, we have many Korean DVDs and CDs at home (and watched them once in a while). The Korean artists that I know of are Dong Bang Shin Ki (T/N: in Thai language) and Super Junior. (laughs) There are many restaurants serving Korean cuisine in Bangkok too that I often visit with my family.

Super Junior-M, Jang Li Yin meet fans in Beijing
K-pop idol group Super Junior-M and Chinese singer Jang Li Yin met with fans in Beijing to promote their new albums, according to their agency on Tuesday.
The boy band and China's top R&B singer appeared at a fully-packed Beijing's Star Live Hall on Monday, where they performed and talked with fans, SM Entertainment said in a press release.
The meeting was the first promotional event sponsored by China's largest fixed-line phone company China Telecom, which signed for exclusive rights to promote Super Junior-M and Jang's songs. The event was aired live on China's major portal site sohu.com.
During the meeting, the idol group performed their ballad tune "Blue Tomorrow" and played the music video to "Super Girl", the title song from their new mini-album. Jang sang her single "Moving On" and also unveiled its music video, in which Super Junior-M member Donghae makes a cameo appearance.
Super Junior-M consists of Super Junior members Han Geng (the leader), Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and two non-Super Junior members, Henry and Zhou Mi. They debuted with the first album Me in April 2008 and their activities are focused on the Chinese market.
Jang's second single album "Moving On" is set for release in Taiwan on October 29, in China on October 30 and will be available in Korea in digital single format on various music sites.

Super Junior M bribes fans with personal gifts
Clad in suits with dark-coloured pants and sporting stylish hairstyles, the seven fine gentlemen of Super Junior M ceremoniously released their first mini album
Hankyung, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Henry and Zhoumi – these members of SJ-M have won the “Most Popular Group” award on various prominent award ceremonies in China since the release of their first album <迷 (Me)> last April. Their image for this new album consists of SJ-M’s usual style with attire in the colours black, white and gray just as before, but with the addition of fashionable accessories such as framed glasses and bowler hats. It is reported that in just three days after its release in Taiwan, this album clinched the top spot on every notable album sales chart such as that of G-MUSIC, FIVEMUSIC etc.
During the event, group member Donghae gave away his perfume bottle, while Hankyung gave away his Korean dictionary. Siwon, on the other hand, gave away a lip balm that he has used, making fans extremely excited. Hankyung then picked up telephone calls from fans during the call-in segment of the event. With his fluent Mandarin, he managed to make the callers believe him when he said they had dialed the wrong number.
Hankyung and Siwon also performed a soulful MV (scene) under the host’s request, with Donghae and Kyuhyun acting as moving background objects, livening up the atmosphere. This would explain Super Junior’s popularity in the Korean entertainment scene.
